Resumo | In remote sensing, the targets interact differently with electromagnetic radiation, and the spectral response is related to the physico-chemical and biological properties of objects. Still, the spectral curves of targets can vary depending on the position of the Sun, solar elevation, sensor pointing direction and by biophysical parameters of the sample. Thus, the interpretation of vegetated areas in satellite images becomes complex due to its anisotropic character, where the viewing geometry and lighting influence the spectral response. These factors mean that the surfaces are not lambertian, making necessary to consider the anisotropy in extracting data from satellite images. In this sense, the observation of the spectral curve of a target without the knowledge of the obtaining conditions does not provide enough information about it. This work included the laboratory simulation of the vegetated surface spectral response under different flooding conditions and viewing geometries. The results showed the effect of anisotropy due to the scattering of REM at all viewing angles and hydrological situations simulated, due primarily to differences in the structures and interaction processes that occur in plants in different regions of EEM. It was also noticed the occurrence of specular reflection at the opposite angle of illumination as the influence of water body prevailed in the reflectance spectrum. The experiments showed reliable results compared to lambertian characteristics of natural surfaces, and the results obtained here are intrinsic to the experiment and may vary in other simulations. |
